WordPress - Adding VisiSmart Scripts

In the Settings page > under Manage Your DomainsČ

When adding a new domain or editing an existing domain, mark your domain as WordPress:

Once the domain is marked as WordPress, you can grab the Universal VisSmart Code by clicking on the Code icon:

You have two options.

 

OPTION 1: Copy the VisiSmart script and add it to your WordPress pages using a Header script-injecting plugin:

OPTION 2: (preferred method): Install the Visiopt WordPress plugin.

 

In the same script pop-up, you will find a link to downlaod the plugin:

Remember the location the plug in is downloaded to.

 

Next, log in to your WordPress account.

 

Click on the Plugins menu to expand it, then click on Add New:

Click on the Upload Plugin option:

Locate on your hard drive the plugin zip file downloaded from Visiopt, and click Install Now:

After the uploading is finished, the plugin is installed, ativate it.

 

Once the plug in is activated, a Visiopt option will appear in theleft sidebar:

 

Head back to Visiopt, and in the Universal VisiSmart script popup, find and copy the tracking site ID number:

Go back to the WordPress interface, and in the Visiopt section, paste in the site ID number and hit Save:

This way the Universal script will be injected into every page in your WP site.
