This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides detailed instructions on how to merge multiple conversion pages into a single page in the Visiopt system. This feature is useful when you want to track various conversion paths as a single conversion event.
Prerequisites
1. Access to the Visiopt system.
2. Existing conversion pages set up in Visiopt.
Steps to Merge Conversion Pages
Step 1: Understand the Purpose
- Merging conversion pages allows you to track multiple conversion paths as a single page.
- This feature is useful when your checkout process or other conversion paths include multiple pages that you want to combine into one conversion event.
Step 2: Access Funnel View
- Navigate to the funnel view in the Visiopt system.
- Identify the pages you want to merge. For this example, we use demo LP one and demo conversion as conversion pages.
Step 3: Assign New URLs
- Go to Options.
- Select Assign New URLs.
Step 4: Choose Main Conversion Page
- Choose the page you want to be the main conversion page. In this example, demo LP one is selected as the main conversion page.

- Click Close and return to the funnel view.
- Verify that there are now two pages instead of three.
- Check for the merge icon, indicating that the pages are merged.
Step 7: Test Conversion Tracking
- Any tests run on the merged page will count a conversion regardless of which conversion page the user lands on.
Step 8: Unassign Merged Pages (Optional)
To unassign the merged pages:
- Go back to Assign New URLs.
- Use the move icon to drag the secondary page back to its original container.
- Click Save.
Step 9: Verify Separated Pages
- Return to the funnel view to ensure all pages are now separated.
- Confirm that the merge icon is no longer present and that all three pages are visible.
By following these steps, you can efficiently merge and unmerge conversion pages in your Visiopt system, allowing for streamlined conversion tracking.
