Managing Cross-Domain Funnels in Visiopt System:
Overview
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) provides a comprehensive guide on how to manage cross-domain funnels within the Visiopt system. Cross-domain funnels are necessary when your landing pages, conversion pages, and cart pages are spread across different domains or subdomains.
Prerequisites
1. Access to the Visiopt system.
2. Knowledge of the domains and subdomains involved in your funnels.
Steps to Manage Cross-Domain Funnels
Step 1: Understand the Scenario
Cross-domain funnels are used when landing pages are on one domain, and conversion pages are on a subdomain or a completely different domain.
Common scenarios include:- A subdomain for the landing page.
- The main domain for sales pages.
- A different domain for the cart.
Step 2: Navigate to the Settings Page
To manage cross-domain funnels, first, go to the Settings page in the Visiopt system.
Step 3: Manage Your Domains
- Click on Manage your domains.
Step 4: Add Domain or Subdomain
- Find a domain that has already been added.
- Click Add a domain or subdomain.
Step 5: Assign Domain/Subdomain
- When adding a domain or subdomain, you will be assigning it to the main domain.
- This makes the domain or subdomain readily available for use in any of your funnels, tests, and campaigns.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage cross-domain funnels within the Visiopt system. This process ensures that multiple domains and subdomains work seamlessly together in your marketing campaigns.
