In Visiopt, test reporting begins the moment a test becomes active.
We use full attribution to capture all relevant data once the test starts.
If you are also tracking using Visiopt Campaigns…
This means that any visitor interactions that occur before a test begins—such as visits to the test landing page—will not count towards the test results, even if the visitor converts after the test is live.
Most users prefer this approach because it ensures that only conversions happening after the test has begun are included in the results.
However, if you want to track conversions based on first-click or last-click attribution, or if you'd like to include visitor interactions before the test starts, you can adjust the behavioral filters.
To do this: Set the behavioral filters to display Desktop and Mobile + Tablet.
This will force Visiopt to show all conversions, even those from visitors who interacted with the page before the test began.
This will also explain why, at times, you will see more conversions when you use behavioral filters such as desktop only or mobile only to sort your conversion data.
Again, this applies only if you are running a campaign prior to the test starting.
