Ultracart - Adding VisiSmart Scripts

 

If you are using UltraCarts page builder to build your LPs, checkout page,s upsells, and downsells, please follow the steps below to see how to add the VisiSmart code to Ultracart pages properly.

 

IMPORTANT: UltraCart builder is a Frontend Framework, so you must enable that option when you add the domain to Visiopt. You can enable it after you have added the domain too, . Inour Visiopt account go to Settings > Manage your domains > Edit > Frontend Framework > Other

Then simply enable the following option:

 

Getting the Universal Smart script:

 

Grab the Universal Smart code from the Settings page > Manage your domains > Code icon

A popup will appear with the Universal smart code. Click on the Copy Universal Smart Code button to copy the script:

 

Adding the VisiSmart script to UltraCart LPs:

 

Step 1 - Storefront > Privacy & Tracking:

Step 2 -Select your Storefront and set the Type to Custom.

Step 3 - You will see two boxes: Tracking HTML and Conversion HTML. Paste the copied Universal SmartCode from Visiopt into both boxes.

 

 

Adding the Universal Smart script to UltraCart upsells and downsells:

 

Step 1 - In your UltraCart account, go to Storefront > Content > Upsells

Step 2 - Find the proper upsells and downsells, and click edit:

Step 3 - Click Edit:

Step 4 - Click on Hierarchy, and after that, click on the add icon.

 

Step 5 - Add a script element as high as possible in the page, and click the option icon:

Step 6 - Click on the JAVA SCRIPT button:

Step 7 - Pate in there the copied universal Visiopt SmartCode and click on Update button.

Step 8 - Save & Exit
