Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Test Mode
1. Navigate to Test Mode
· Go to the menu and select "Results."
· Click on "Test Mode."
Step 2: Enable Test Mode
1. Turn On Test Mode
· Click on "Test Mode" to activate it.
· You will see a notification indicating that Test Mode is now active.
Step 3: Retrieve Test Page URL
1. Get the Page URL
· Click on the provided link to open the test page in a new URL.
· Copy this URL.
2. Open Incognito Browser
· Open an incognito browser window and paste the copied URL.
· This will display one of the test variations.
Step 4: Inspect Test Variation
1. Inspect the Variation
· Right-click on the test page and select "Inspect."
· Click on the "Console" tab.
· Identify the test variation number displayed in the console (e.g., Test Variation Number 3).
2. Refresh Stats
· Go back to your Visiopt chart and refresh the stats to ensure you have recorded a new unique visitor for the test variation.
Step 5: Repeat Testing
1. Repeat the Process
· Repeat the steps above to test other variations.
· It is recommended to place a complete test order to track conversions thoroughly.
Step 6: Disable Test Mode
1. Turn Off Test Mode
· Once you have reviewed your chart and are satisfied with the test results, go back to the menu.
· Click on "Test Mode" to deactivate it.
2. Confirm Deactivation
· The chart will automatically clear any data collected during Test Mode.
· Your test is now ready to run live.
