Using the Device Preview in Visiopt

Overview

Some edits that we made inside the text editor, like, for example, variable CSS, variable scripts, global CSS, or global scripts, will not show up inside the text editor.

To see these, we have to use the device preview.

Previously, we had to select the variation and the variables in the text editor, and then select Device Preview, and the selected variation and variables would show up in the device preview pop-up.

We improved that.

Now we select variables and versions inside the device preview pop-up itself.

No need to close the pop-up, then change it in the test editor, and then open the pop-up again.

Click on the gear icon and then select Device Preview.

In short, in the device preview, we can switch between device types: desktop, tablet, and mobile.

And we can browse through the variables and versions.
