This SOP provides detailed instructions on how to use the URL builder and custom tags within the Visiopt system. This includes setting up tracking URLs, managing saved URLs, and utilizing various network tokens.
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
 

Accessing the URL Builder and Custom Tags Section
 

1. Navigate to the URL Builder and Custom Tags Section

·   Go to the "URL Builder and Custom Tags" section within your account.

·   This is where you can set up tracking URLs for your tests and campaigns.
 

Creating and Managing Tracking URLs
 

1. View Saved URLs

·   You can see a list of the URLs that you have saved.

·   These URLs can be reused whenever needed.
 

2. Reusing Saved URLs

·   To reuse a saved URL:

·   Go to the "Edit" option next to the URL.

·   Grab the URL that you have previously created.
 

3. Deleting Saved URLs

·   If a URL is no longer needed, you can delete it from the list.
 

Creating New Tracking URLs
 

1. Create a New URL

·   To create a new tracking URL, go to the "New URL" section.

·   You can use standard UTM tags or up to five custom tags for your tracking needs.
 

2. Using Network Tokens

·   You can use various network tokens such as Facebook, Google, and Microsoft tags.

·   A list of all available network tokens is provided for reference.
 

3. Finalizing and Saving the URL

·   Once the URL is created, you will see it displayed.

·   You can copy the URL and, if desired, name it and save it to the list for future use.
