Recordings track individual user sessions, providing detailed insights into user behavior, such as clicks, navigation paths, and interactions.
By analyzing how visitors interact with your site, you can identify usability issues, understand user intent, and make targeted optimizations to improve the overall user experience and increase conversions.
Every page that you add to Visiopt will be listed here in recordings.
By default, recording will be disabled for each page.
If you want to record actions on a page, you select the page from this list and then click the play button. It will start recording.
Here you see the page names again.
All the pages where you received visits will be listed here.
And if you want to review a recording, simply click on the recording name.
You can set up recording options individually for each page listed here simply by clicking on this icon.
Let's review recording options.
The first option is the sampling grade. We have uniform, consecutive, custom, and no sampling.
The sampling grade determines how data is collected for analysis, offering options like uniform (regular intervals), consecutive (in sequence), custom (based on specific criteria), or no sampling (using all available data). This allows you to control the precision and scope of the data you analyze.
Then under Track the following pages, you will see the list of the pages in that particular funnel. By default, all the pages will be recorded in the funnel.
Uncheck any pages you do not need recorded.
When you want to focus on "engaged visitors," you can customize the sampling to define what "engaged" means for your analysis. For example, you can set criteria such as visitors who spend more than a certain number of seconds on a page or who visit at least a specific number of pages. Additionally, there's an option for privacy protection, which you can choose to enable as needed. Use this on pages where private or sensitive information is entered.
To watch a video, scroll to the desired page and click on the name of the page, and then you'll see a list of all the recording sessions.
When you go through all the pages, you'll see the date, the duration, and number of pages.
You'll also see the device type, so it can be desktop, mobile, or tablet. And you will see the browser used.
These “X” icons can be used to delete a recording.
If you want to watch a recording, simply hit the play button and it'll open in a new page like this.
Here you can see more details regarding this recording. You will see pages in the recording. You will see the actions that happened during the visit.
And you can select the speed, either slower or faster.
If you want to watch a recording, of course, simply just hit the play and it'll be played back.
Here you will see how the green sections change.
To watch the recording of the next page, simply just click here, select the next page, and the recording will start.
